Civil Defense Action Group was appointed to head the Asia-Pacific Maritime Search and Rescue Advisory Group

(AMSARAG) of the Asia Pacific Network in order to create maritime emergency responders throughout the

Asia Pacific Region and a recognize partner of the Association of South East Asian Nation (ASEAN) in promoting

the Agreement of ASEAN in Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) during

the conference held at Bangkok, Thailand last 2010.
